Thai visit to OSU

April 24, 2009, Dr. Thep Phongparnich, the 2005 OSU Distinguished International Alumni Awardee, and the President of Maejo University, with a faculty delegation, visited OSU. Dr. David M. Henneberry, the Director of International Agricultural Programs and Tim Huff, the manager of OSU’s International Students and Scholars Office, were the hosts who provided accommodations and reception.

11. Mr. Prakong Yodhom: Head of Phisical Plant and Maintenance
12. Mr. Surin Deeseepan: Senior Agricultural Specialist
13. Mr. Surachai Salirat: Manager, University Farm and Park

On this trip, Dr. Phongparnich and delegation had an opportunity to tour the campus and Agricultural sectors:
-Landscape Architecture and Contracting Facilitators
-Teaching Green House
-OSU Oklahoma Botanical and Environmental Turfgrass Research Studies/Facilities
-Farm of Dr. James Key
The purpose of the visit was to learn and gain knowledge about the American Educational system and the US agricultural farms.
