Visitors from Osh Technical University, Kyrgyz State University, Talas State University and Chui University all in the Kyrgyz Republic visited faculty and staff at the Division of International Studies and Outreach at Oklahoma State University. The visitors were part of the International Visitor Leadership Program which was launched in 1940 to build mutual understanding between the United States and other nations through carefully designed professional visits to the U.S. for current and emerging leaders.

The visitors from the Kyrgyz Republic discussed higher education in the U.S. with David Henneberry, associate director IS&O and Joel Jenswold, SIS director of graduate programs. The universities would also like to sign a Memoriam of Understanding to further develop educational bonds.
