Because of its close proximity to the U.S., Saltillo is best known for its automotive

as its many tourist attractions, have made Saltillo one of the best places to visit
in northern Mexico. The architectural heritage of Saltillo
is reflected in the large number of buildings constructed of pink quarry and limestone.
