WELCOME!

You have found the Study Abroad Office at Oklahoma State University! The Study Abroad Office coordinates student exchanges. Are you thinking about becoming an exchange student at OSU? Please allow us to define how exchange students are different from other international students.

DEFINITIONS

International Students

Students wishing to obtain an OSU degree are considered “degree-seeking, international students” who pay tuition and fees for international students. If you wish to pursue an academic degree from OSU, you should visit the Office of Admissions  homepage and the Office of International Students & Scholars (ISS)  homepage for further information.

If you are an OSU international student who would like to learn about opportunities to study abroad, please visit our Prospective Participants page.

Exchange Students

Exchange students plan to study at OSU for one semester or one academic year, do not want to obtain their entire degree from OSU, and do not pay OSU tuition and fees. They are seeking to experience life and culture in the United States as a student, for only a short time. If you wish to be an exchange student, please go to Steps to follow for Exchange.

About the OSU Campus

The OSU campus is one of exceptional beauty with modified Georgian style architecture. The campus includes a library (one of the largest in the State of Oklahoma link); a Student Union complete with hotel facilities, barbershops, post office, cafeterias, theater; a student health center, bank services; the large student recreation center and cultural centers for visual and performing arts.
