Sigma Iota Rho

The Oklahoma State University (OSU) chapter of Sigma Iota Rho (SIR) was established in the Spring of 2011. In April 2011, an induction ceremony to honor the scholastic achievements and dedication to international studies was held for the first eight members of the honor society. Students eligible to join the honor society become part of a nationwide network of SIR members and help promote international issues on the OSU campus and in the community. Nearly 100 universities across the nation have started their own SIR chapter and OSU is glad to be among these college campuses that are committed to the internationalization of their own community.
