Welcome to OSU's Study Abroad/National Student Exchange Office!

Information about Swine Flu

The Study Abroad/NSE Office is closely following the development of the swine flu situation worldwide, monitoring resources that provide information and updates on the outbreak, especially in Mexico. The University administration is presently assessing risks not only for students now abroad, but also for those intending to study abroad this summer 2009. Please check the OSU homepage or this page for further updates.

Response to the outbreak from other US universities and study abroad program providers has been varied. Students now abroad are advised to follow the counsel of the local health authorities or program coordinators. Students planning to study abroad should check with their program provider, whether an Outreach Office for OSU faculty-led study abroad or the Study Abroad/NSE Office for affiliated/approved programs, to confirm the status of their particular program.
